Kristina joined our Veterinary Assistant team in 2022. She grew up with several animals and knew she wanted to become a veterinarian from a very young age. She worked as a local animal shelter volunteer throughout high school and developed a different kind of connection to animals during this time; it was a deeper, more personal connection than simply admiration. This sparked her interest to study Animal Science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and is set to graduate in June 2024. Although she appreciates the numerous academic resources available at her university, the Stenner Creek Animal Hospital offers her unique and invaluable hands-on experiences in animal care and personal growth. This facility has grown to become a second home for her, accompanied by a second family whom she cherishes dearly.
